I’m Applying to be the next Mamavation Mom!
You’ve seen my Mamavation posts before, but do you know about Mamavation?
Here’s the official definition of Mamavation from the website: “Mamavation™ is a online docudrama and weight loss support group for moms in social media. It’s both a campaign and Virtual Sorority™ in one.”
So the posts that I do on Mondays are part of the sorority – it’s a great group of women who support one another online on Twitter and on Bookieboo.com. Just look for the hashtag #mamavation for great nutrition, diet and exercise advice. It’s a great group of ladies and I love being a part of it. We also chat online on Mondays through MingleMedia – it’s super cool.
But the other part of Mamavation is the 7-week online boot camp. Two moms share their struggles online as they learn how to live healthy so that they can inspire other moms and pass on their knowledge to their family – it’s win-win all around.
I’ve been thinking about applying for the last several campaigns (ok, not when I was pregnant, but the other ones), and now it’s time! So I would love it if you could check out my application video below.
Part of the application process also involves showing that I have a support network already, so I would love it if you could tweet this message: Hey @bookieboo! I want @way2gomom to be the next #Mamavation Mom. She has my support! http://bit.ly/aorv3Y
If you’re only on Facebook, you can still help me out! Just leave a comment on the Mamavation Facebook Fan Page saying why you think I’ll make a great Mamavation Mom.
So without further ado, here’s my video:

I love your video – you take all the kid interruptions in gracious stride. Isn't that what parenthood is all about? Good luck!
