You remember that I’ve been test driving some phones from Net10 Wireless, right? Well, part of the campaign was to have an awesome time for Reyes Magos – now that is always something I can do. For Reyes Magos this year, we had a family day! We went over to my husband’s parents house and had a wonderful time. First we had sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast – mmmm, and then we went outside to have some more fun. In addition to putting away the Christmas decorations, we also built a snowman. It was awesome. And totally hilarious, because my 4-year-old son ran over and grabbed some grass from under the snow and put it on the middle snowball – so that the snowman would look like Daddy, complete with chest hair! Seriously, some of the things kids say…
I loved being able to snap a quick pic of the snowman with my Net10 LG Optimus Logic, and then I used Instagram to spread it all over my social networks and share with family members far away. It was a great way to be able to keep in touch with family who live far away, too! Between Twitter and Facebook, we were able to keep in touch with my siblings and our other family members who weren’t able to celebrate with us. And, you’ll probably think I’m crazy, but one of our family’s favorite things to do is to play SongPop – even when we’re all in the same room together! So that was another fun thing that we were able to do with the Net10 phone – see, on the Android phone you can download SongPop, add headphones and another person who likes to play and voila, family fun! And of course, you can’t have a family fun day without taking goofy pictures! My favorite way to show how I used my Net10 phone for Reyes Magos was to take pictures, tweet, play SongPop and update Facebook with it!
We had a pretty yummy lunch of chicken and noodles, which is one of my mother-in-law’s specialty recipes according to her kids. It was a great meal and we had so much fun working and playing together. The best part was that when we brought the kids home, they were so tired they went to bed early.
Overall, we had a great time on Reyes Magos and we have had a wonderful time test driving the Net10 phones. In fact, we’ve decided to switch full-time. These phones have amazing reception in our house, which is hard to find. Net10 Wireless offers the nation’s best carriers, since they partnered with the country’s top four carriers to bring you the network quality you need. That means you get the same dependable coverage they offer—for half the cost. The price is the other reason that we’ve decided to switch full-time – Net10 Family plans include unlimited data, text, talk, starting at $50 for first line, $40 each additional line. With just the two of using cell phones – not even smart phones, on our previous contract, we paid more than we do with the smartphones on Net10! And we really love being able to use smartphones again. I think my husband is angling to get the LG Optimus Logic for himself too, he loves it.
Head on over to the Net10 Wireless website for more information – and I can tell you that I was super excited when I found out you can get an iPhone with them too! Net10 Wireless phones and airtime cards are available at 90,000 locations across the USA, including Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Family Dollar, K-Mart, Radio Shack and CVS stores and online at net10wireless.com ( Buy phones, monthly plans or get airtime).
