You’ve heard about the newest fitness sensation on the Internet, right? Prancercise is taking the web by storm the past two weeks and for a great reason – it’s a fantastic workout that does not fail to make people laugh. And laughter is the best medicine for health AND weight loss! The number of videos popping up on YouTube as remixes or parodies is huge, and I was trolling along today looking for the best of the best to share with you when I happened across the VERY best Prancercise Remix video.
But it’s also been a while since I’ve shared with you my own fitness journey, so let me take a moment to remedy that…
I was a Mamavation Mom in Campaign 15 and today is the very last day of Campaign 16 – I can’t even believe that much time has passed! With the help of the campaign, I have lost a total of 36 pounds. But the downside is that over the past few months I haven’t really done anything to make that number go up very much. So I’m recommitting to getting my fitness on. I started with a great run on Saturday in the country – I ran 3.01 miles! Sunday was a rest day and today I went for another run for 2.52 miles. I’m going to do some cross training this week and add in run days as weather permits since I packed up my treadmill in preparation for my move. That’s right – we’re moving soon! We’ve been building a house and you can catch up on the latest progress update here if you haven’t seen it already. So right now that’s my update. No weight change, but I’m recommitting and getting myself moving again. I hope you have an awesome week as well!
