Blogging. It is both my favorite and my most dreaded activity. I’ve been blogging since my junior year of high school, which was fourteen years ago, even though the time seems to have flown by.
Over the years, I’ve written poetry, short stories, researched articles, post silly pictures, and everything in between. I’ve attempted to make DIY tutorials and recipes that I generally ended up not really liking. I’ve launched and left several websites. In all of it, I’ve questioned – what could I do to be better?
A couple of years ago (I think!), I purchased the eBook from ProBlogger called 31 Days to Build a Better Blog. I was convinced that I would master this course and step up into the higher echelon of bloggers – those who are here for a purpose, the professional bloggers who are able to supplement or replace income with their writing. And I never finished it.
Turns out I’m not alone in this quest or in the giving up of the quest.
I recently asked on Facebook if any of my friends would be interested in going through the workbook with me – and I was astounded by the response! Not only are other bloggers also interested in building better blogs, they’ve also purchased the workbook and NOT finished it. We all seem to reach a point where we are flustered, lacking motivation, or just plain too busy to continue, and we give up. So we’ve banded together to create a support group. Starting on August 1st, we’ll be working together through the tasks included in the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog eBook so that we can all help each other through the entire month. Should be exciting!
If you would like to join us, you can request to be added to our Facebook group. If you’ve not purchased the eBook, you can buy it here (note, this is my affiliate link): 31 Days to Build a Better Blog eBook.
Wish us luck!
